Did you know that Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the US? Why? Because it is seriously fun!

Invented in 1965 by a U.S. Congressman from Washington and his friend, pickleball is a cross between tennis, badminton and ping-pong. It is played with a paddle which looks like an oversized ping-pong paddle and a lightweight perforated plastic ball, which resembles a Wiffle Ball, on a badminton-sized court.

Initially played mostly by seniors, pickleball proponents claim it as the fastest growing sport in the world. The USA Pickleball Association said that in 2015, about 62 new pickleball locations per month were created nationally.

Why is the sport so contagious? For one thing, it is easy to gain some proficiency in, particularly for those who have played racquet sports. Most pickleball facilities offer free loaner paddles and balls and play at low or no cost.

Building momentum ... newbies welcome and wanted to promote this new and growing in popularity sport ... no experience needed. We'll teach you the basics, Loaner paddles available. Get out and join us for Pickleball.
